Here are some important instructions for installing your TollRider Magnetic System.
Insert your Electronic Toll Tag inside the Magnetic TollRider pouch with the adhesive side facing away from the magnet and the face pointing down. The waterproof zip closes, to maintain a water resistent seal.
Your TollRider comes complete with two mounting options, either Tank Mounted or Handle Bar Mounted.
Tank Mounted - The Toll Rider product uses its quick lock magent system to attach your Toll Tag to any metal surface on the motorcycle. The petrol tank is the preferred option. Simply place the TollRider in a position where it can be clearly read by the overhead toll scanning device, without any interference from handle bars, mirrors etc.
Handle Bar Mounted - If your motorcycle has a polycarbonate petrol tank, your TollRider can be mounted to the handle bars using the clamp system which includes an adjustable bracket and sizing spacers. This bracket can be secured to the handle bars, fairing support bar, or risers bars. This will then allow the TollRider system to be magnetically attached to the bracket. If you are using the handle bar clamp system, you maybe required to move items on the handle bar to make room for your TollRider bracket.
Your TollRider should always be positioned to gain maximum exposure to the overhead Electronic Tag scanning device. For best results, while passing through the toll booth the rider should travel in the centre of the lane to ensure a correct reading of the Electronic tag is achieved.
